Venerable Tunde Oduwole
Venerable Tunde Oduwole is currently the Assisting Priest at Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, TBS, Lagos. He served at St Jude’s Church (now The Anglican Cathedral in Ebute Meta, Lagos) for close to 30years. Subsequently, he was admitted into the holy orders and rose in the group hierarchy to become Band Leader of the St. Jude’s Voices (an ancillary Praise Band group of the Church Choir) in 1990.
He had his theological training at Immanuel College of Theology and Christian Education, Ibadan Nigeria. After being ordered a Deacon in 1999, Venerable Oduwole was ordained a priest in 2000 and then became an Archdeacon in 2007.
Venerable Oduwole served as Chaplain and pioneer Vice Principal at Holy Trinity (Anglican) Church, Ikorodu and as Chaplain and Vice Principal at Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Ikorodu. He was the first male Principal of Lagos Anglican Girls’ Grammar School Surulere, Lagos and served as Curate at the Church of the Resurrection, 1004 Federal Housing Estates, Victoria Island, Lagos. During these multiple placements, he also doubled as Vicar at the Anglican Church of the Nativity Parkview, Ikoyi, Lagos, from 2006 to 2017, where God used him tremendously for the work of the Ministry.
He is happily married to Kikelomo and together, they have four lovely children.
